About Us

We believe that good food is always in season, and we take great pride in the fact that all our produce and ingredients are homegrown. Our estate consists of over 600 acres of land covered in rich, dark soil, which is regularly ploughed and cultivated. This soil is home to several different fruits and vegetables, which are grown according to the season.

A Diar il-Bniet meal means an honest, authentic and genuine meal; made of only the freshest ingredients that were grown and hand picked by one of our own. The recipes from which these dishes derive were written by our elders, decades ago, and taught to us as children. Every aspect of the dining experience we provide is honest and true to not only our roots but the roots of Maltese cuisine.

We have a superb a la carte menu which is changed seasonally. We use only the best quality ingredients in our dishes which are sourced fresh from our fields hence our fork-to-table concept. All our products are locally produced and you can expect a great experience when eating our centuries old recipes that go back as far as the Mifsud’s great grand mother.
